NHL Stenden has 4 campuses in the Netherlands: Leeuwarden, Emmen, Meppel and Groningen. The institution is continuously expanding and even on an international level, with campuses in Bali, Thailand, South Africa or Qatar. Stenden students have the opportunity to travel during their studies through the Stenden Grand Tour programme, which involves a semester of study in one of the international campuses already mentioned.
By successfully combining theory with practice, Stenden offers the most pragmatic and applicable programmes. The university enrolls approximately 2,500 international students from over 85 countries. Facilities include a campus with specially designed conference and business meeting spaces, an IT center, social spaces, a modern library, a banking and job placement agency, sports halls and a cafeteria-restaurant. The University also has a 4* hotel, a restaurant and a bar entirely run by students from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management.
